I thought Martin Freeman as Bilbo wor...It was good. I thought Martin Freeman as Bilbo worked really well. That guy is natural and made the whole fantasy world believable. I loved the first scene when the dwarfs start showing up at his house. The attention to detail was fantastic. The round and cosy setting of his house, the singing at the fire place...it all created anticipation and I quickly warmed up to these adventurers. Other action scenes such as tumbling, falling, slipping, rolling down or simply hanging on were not as exciting to me, seen too much of that.
