"The Old Man and the Seat"

After yesterday, I was going to leave the Clint Eastwood thing alone, because I do still really admire the guy and didn't want to seem like I was piling on. But Jon Stewart so masterfully drew together the ideological connective tissue between Clint's haranguing of an empty chair and Mitt Romney's subsequent nomination acceptance speech (which was almost completely ignored in the aftermath of the Eastwood "Clintastrophe"), that I just needed to share it.
