Classy.

Here's the first trailer for this summer's X-Men: First Class, the prequel project we last discussed here.

I love the cast, I love the '60s setting, and I have to say, while I may just be asking for it after getting burned with the last two X-flicks, this one looks pretty darn solid.

Even though I'm feeling a little superhero'd out these days, I agree with you. I think the 60's angle might make this one interesting.

I thought the submarine thing looked cool too.

I definitely feel like, between this and Fox getting Aronofsky to do WOLVERINE 2, that the X-franchise might actually be turning itself around.

My only real complaint is having made-up movie characters with the powers of other comic book characters.

I do like that it has Havok instead of Cyclops though.

Woulda' been cool had they taken the X-Factor roster and plugged it into the 1960's X-Men world.

It didn't blow me away - - main ly because it "looks" like the same old song and dance. But here's hoping the time period and the new cast and the new director, etc, will give it a fresh touch.

Cautiously optimistic, I am.
